Long-tailed Parakeet
Seen in Singapore’s botanic gardens, these parakeets were so cool to see out foraging in the middle of one of the lakes! They’ve got a great palette!
Monitor Lizard
Getting bitten by wildlife should never be in the plan, but especially do not get bitten by this large lizard.
Eurasian Tree Sparrow
Close sibling of the House Sparrow, we have examples of the Eurasian Tree Sparrow from two different countries here, Singapore and Japan!
Brown-throated Sunbird
Perfectly posed and nibbling on a flower, this bird was spotted at Sungei Buloh, a great place to stop in Singapore if you like birding!
Ashy Tailorbird
Starting the Singapore Trip Set strong with the Ashy Tailorbird! I’m really happy with these pictures! Come have a look!
Violet-Green Swallow
Perhaps the best photo I took at the Grand Canyon, starring a particular difficult to photograph bird!
Seriously, open up this photo and look around! I’m very pleased with it!
Peregrine Falcon
A falcon found around the world, this particular one is enjoying one of the world’s wonders!
Golden Eagle
It’s time to play “what’s that bird” featuring this incredibly distant (I believe) Eagle!
Painted Lady
One of the most widespread butterflies in the world! Here, but only with one picture.
Woodhouse’s Scrub Jay
An often present, though photographically elusive (to me) bird that lives among the trees of the grand canyon’s rim trails.
Zone-tailed Hawk
This bird was really, really far away. That I can ID it at all is pretty cool!
Plateau Fence Lizard
Can you see the lizard? Or does its camouflage allow it to evade your notice?
Cliff Chipmunk
A daring little guy that navigates the Grand Canyon’s cracks and crevices with ease!
