Brown-throated Sunbird

This bird was the first close really good shot I got at Sungei Buloh! Nova and I were walking along a path and it landed just above their head! It spent a minute or so there, nibbling on or taking sips out of that pink flower! It was a great start to the expedition for the day!

I do wish the focus on the second image was better. It’s just barely off on its face and has locked onto the bird’s feet instead. I’ve heard the R7 sometimes has this problem where it’ll micro-roll its focus (which would explain why the first image has it in the right spot), but it’s also possible it was a skill issue on my part.

The latter two pictures are pictures of what I believe to be a female of this species encountered elsewhere in Singapore on another day.
