Cliff Chipmunk

I only saw one of these guys and they darted right down into that crevasse a moment later! Unfortunately, the picture is a little out of focus but you can still see some details like the pointy ears! I wonder what is lurking in the gap below? Something to eat? A place to hide? The critter’s home? I suppose I’ll never know!
