Western Bluebird

So many bluebirds! They hung out quite a bit near the Grand Canyon village itself, as well as in the more forested trails a bit further from the canyon’s edge. I managed to capture quite a few of them across the trip. It’s hard to pick favorites, but “No Parking Bluebird” is just so fun to say!

The first image, brightly illuminated in the morning light is probably the best overall picture though! Just a bit of snow on the branch, and if you look closely you can even see some color in his eye!

I’m also a fan of the paler bluebird on a stick! While not as full framed as the others, the muted coloration is very nice!
