Ash-throated Flycatcher
Perched quite far away, though this is not a bird with king in the name, I do think the crest is rather monarch-like! I think they’re a rather cute regal creature! Their muted palette I don’t think detracts from their sense of poise.
If my ID is accurate, I only saw this bird once, but it’s possible the Say’s Phoebe I have up is also one of these (or vice-versa). What do you think?
