Swamp Sparrow

What an adorable little sparrow, a curious bird, and the first one that I saw on my last day dawn-birding outing!

I always love when a bird is curious about me, the photographer. This swamp sparrow was further in the meadow and came closer once I started photographing it! It sat up in a branch tilting its head for a little before deciding it had its fill and heading back. A very cute little guy, and a great start to the morning’s walk!
