American Crow

Crow family! It was easy to hear these guys from a distance, because one of them (I assume a parent) was preening another who was making all sorts of yelps and caws. It even looks like a child whose parent is fussing over it! Very cute!

One of my favorite genre of animal photos is becoming “animal appreciating nature”. The third photo is a crow having a nice time in Bar Harbor looking out at the beach or the islands.

The rest of the photos were taken at long distance or in the rain. I’ve left them up for now for comparison for how far I’ve come! Those crows were taken before I even had 50 species, so I was a super novice and working with cheaper gear then too!
