Whimbrel

The whimsical Whimbrels wade where watery waves… dang, couldn’t think of a way to finish that.

These are some fun looking birds with their long curved beaks! There were a lot of them hanging out in clusters on the shore or wading in the water! Very good shapes on these birds, yes.

More birds should have names like “Whimbrel” and less “So-and-so’s feature-that-only-appears-on-the-male species”.
