Violet Vinegar Crab

There were a good number of these crabs at Sungei Buloh, but this one in particular was a fantastic photo subject! Not only are the colors great, but look at all the textures on this creature! The body looks so matte, the claws have those tiny “thorns” and the top of the head is so shiny!

No wonder convergence to crab is an evolutionary constant!
