Dark-eyed Junco

These tiny birds often visit The Library, but they are usually evasive and difficult to photograph. But! One day, a nice bit of snow brought them out into the open! Not only that, but they came and perched pretty close to the window where I was taking photographs!
The one in the first two pictures in particular was a great subject and came right down like she was curious about me!
