Red Junglefowl

Wild chickens! Not just adults either, but wild hens with her chicks! Look at them! The mother was foraging and finding food and nudging her children to pick it up and eat it themselves!

Actually, there were several clusters of hens and her chicks scattered throughout the botanic gardens of Singapore! Some of them were quite close to the footpath. All of them were very, very cute! There were some roosters too, but they kept their distance from the people and I didn’t get any good photos of them.
