Gray Catbird

One day I found a freshly fallen tree and set up to take pictures near it! While many birds came to investigate the change in landscape, one of them—this catbird—quickly became more interested in me! This little guy’s curiosity had him hopping closer and closer until I got these first two photos! He must have gotten within a few meters of me! He was a very inquisitive sort and I am thankful for his company!

The last image is a young one from another day that was perched atop a small tree squeaking and fluttering for their parents’ attention!
