Daurian Redstart

This bird quite literally flew out of the woods onto the railing there, looked at me, then flew off never to be seen again. I took a flurry of photos, grabbed the sharpest one and that’s it. That’s all I’ve seen of any Daurian Redstart.

I imagine she is some kind of princess bird, given the proximity to Meiji shrine!
