Common Yellowthroat

This is another bird which I got to see with its young! The young birds aren’t quite as good at hiding as their parents, so like the others I was able to spot the baby birds first and then photograph the parent when it came around!

This particular family is a little different than the last few I saw. Whereas the warbler parents were feeding their children, this yellowthroat had either finished doing so or was trying to get the babies to eat on their own. I have a few pictures of one of the young pecking at a broken tree, I assume for food! Not long after the parent arrived and three beeping babies followed it around for a bit before they all flew back into the brush!
