Common Eider
Only distant shots of these dabbling ducks! A lot of the ones with mottled feather patterns are, I believe, juveniles who are starting to get their adult pattern. Unfortunately, no great pictures of them either way. Just one lone one drifting on the water (that I didn’t even realize was probably an eider until I started editing photos) and the one flock flying far away from me!
