Pink-necked Green Pigeon

I love these pigeons. They’re so colorful and fun! The first one was photographed at Sungei Buloh. He was pretty high up in the trees and the lighting wasn’t great, but it’s probably still the best one at depicting their color patterns that I got. The rest were all at the botanic gardens another day, where they were perched up high among a grove!

I also love the plumage of the females that are fully green! They are unripe banana pigeons.
