Great Black-backed Gull
A large, in my opinion, regal gull. Spotted here sitting atop a buoy like a harbor master inspecting the ships as they come in to port. The terse expression to me tells me that this bird is one who takes their duty seriously and can be a bit gruff and abrasive but will come to your aid if needed!
