Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
To me, this has always been one of the iconic butterflies. I think in part to, in my youth, having either a school or family “project” where we raised some caterpillars until they became butterflies and one of them was a Tiger Swallowtail!
These are very beautiful butterflies. I love their patterns and the bit of extra color they have as well.
