Common Ground Dove
For a bird called “common” I actually only saw this one! It was running along the sand not too far from the path and kept glancing back at me! I hope I wasn’t disturbing it. The more I take bird photos, the more affection I have for doves! They have such a good shape! I just want to pick them up and gently smoosh them. I will not, they are wild animals, but the desire is there.
