Bonaparte’s Gull

Time to play a game of “really questionable IDs, even for you, Mordio!” as I think this is a Bonaparte’s Gull that’s just starting to gain breeding plumage. Still has a white ring around the eye, head fathers that look like they’re starting to turn black, and the overall color of the wing-to-wingtips is why I picked this ID.

Not a great photograph though, but it “counts” I suppose?
