Black-tailed Gull

When you stare at the gull, the gull stares back!

At least, this particular one does.

I adore this photo! The texture in the iris of the eye is so good! And the red around it? Plus the judgmental looking expression is very funny to me too! I was sitting on a bench and this gull must have been within a handful of meters… I don’t think they appreciated the camera being pointed their direction. So I only took a couple and pointed it elsewhere.

The last photo is one taken of the same set of birds from a bit further away, just to show the whole body of the bird!
